Biscayne

Biscayne jest dosyć ciekawym parkiem. 80% powierzchni to woda. Pośrodq długa wyspa, po jednej stronie przesmyk ze śródlądową florą i fauną, a po drugiej rafa koralowa.

Tak naprawdę chcieliśmy strasznie zobaczyć tą rafę koralową. Na tych zdjęciach jeszcze tego nie widać, ale woda miała klasycznie seledynowy kolor.

Niestety, ze względu na pogodę rejsy na rafę się nie odbywały. Biorąc pod uwagę, że na taką zabawę przydałaby się hermetyczna obudowa na aparat, nie mamy czego żałować. Postanowiliśmy przyjechać tutaj raz jeszcze w porze nieco cieplejszej.

Biscayne is quite unusual park as 80% of its area is covered with water. There is a long narrow island in the middle with the continental flora and fauna on one side, and coral reef on the other side.

It was a coral reef we wanted to see the most. I guess the pictures does not reveal the real blue colour of the water.

Unfortunately, there were no cruises to the reef because of the weather. Bearing in mind that waterproof camera case for such trip is a must, we did not loose much this time. We decided to come here again in the late summer or early autumn.
