Muzeum Powietrza i Przestrzeni w D.C. ma swoistą terenową filię nieopodal lotniska Dullas International. Wybierałem się tam od dłuższego czasu, ale że Słoń nie bardzo zainteresowany pierdółkami technicznymi, to tak jakoś schodziło. Na szczęście na Thanksgiving zjawił się u nas Kamil, więc był to doskonały pretekst, żeby jednak się tam wybrać.

Muzeum jest zrobione w jakimś zaadoptowanym hangarze, w środq tyle miejsca, że udało się upchnąć nawet Concorde'a. Do tego jest drugi hangar na wahadłowca Enterprise i cały czas coś jeszcze dobudowywują.

Ogólnie wszelkiego żelastwa pod dostatkiem. Pewnie gratka dla miłośników samolotów, ale ja chciałem zobaczyć zasadniczo Enterprise'a, Concorde'a i Blackbirda.

National Air and Space Museum in D.C. has a separate center close to Dullas International Airport. For a long time I have been looking for a good reason to visit this place because Słoń does not seem to be very keen on technical stuff. Fortunately Kamil paid us a visit for Thanksgiving, so it was a perfect reason to show him the museum.

The museum is located in some hangar so huge they were able to put Concorde inside. There is also a separate hangar for Enterprise space shuttle and they are still expanding the exposition space.

Generaly there are lots and lots different flying items. It might be a great place for enthusiasts, but I went there to see Enterprise, Concorde and Blackbird.
